Task: Receive Maintenance Change Request
The purpose of this task is to receive and understand the requirements of the maintenance change requests. In case the maintenance change request is a bug reported by the Client, the team must reproduce the bug as the first step.

Main Description
The Maintenance Change Request Manager should receive and gather requirements on the maintenance change request (either from the Client or the Change Management process). In case any clarity is required, the Maintenance Change Request Manager must resolve queries on the same. These details help the Maintenance Change Request Manager to validate the maintenance change request against the defined scope and criteria and accordingly classify and prioritize the request.

In case, a bug is reported by the Client, Maintenance Change Request Manager must reproduce the bug to understand the underlying problem and its impact on the system. If the bug cannot be reproduced, then the Maintenance Change Request Manager must approach the Client to provide steps to reproduce the bug.

Maintenance Change Request Manager must do a high-level impact analysis and raise the queries to the Client pertaining to the maintenance change request, if any. All queries raised must be logged and closed at this stage before proceeding with the next steps of Maintenance Change Request Management process.
